Babajide Agunbiade

Engr. Jide Agunbiade COREN, MNSE, FIISE, MBA is a Nigerian Oil & gas Professional, Businessman, and Philanthropist. He is an Engineer and Subject Matter Expert in Subsea Production Systems. He is currently an Executive Director at National Oilwell Varco (NOV), an American conglomerate that is the largest worldwide provider of equipment and components used in Oil and Gas drilling and production operations based in Houston, Texas. He is also Group MD of Midas Global LLC and CEO and Co-owner of US Subsidiary of Sifax Shipping & logistics. Sifax Group is one of Africa's fastest-growing multinational corporations with diverse interests in Maritime, Aviation, Haulage & Logistics, Oil & Gas and Hospitality. Jide started his career at as a subsea Engineer at Texaco Overseas, he left Texaco to join General Electric (G.E) where he rose to become principal Engineer of the GE Gasification business group. Jide graduated with a combined honors degree in Industrial & Production Engineering from the University of Ibadan.
